Naked Surfer unravels the myths and mystery surrounding some popular urban legends and folklore of the digital age.

We all, at one time or another, have been fascinated with urban legends. For most of us the fascination is still there judging from the popularity of movies on such legends and TV documentaries exploring the myths behind some of the popular ones.
Naked Surfer stumbled across this site, About Com: Urban Legends and was enthralled learning that certain legends are nothing more than hoaxes, while others are what they are - legends.
It is also an entertaining site as you can “Take the UL Image Quiz”, which tests your ability to discern hoax images from the real thing.
Or go to Quiz Central and try the “Test Your Urban Legends IQ”. It tests your knowledge of folklore and urban legends, including many of the most commonly told tales.
If you want to share your views on folklores and urban legends you can blog with David Emery, who is About.com guide to urban legends since 1997. As he says: "On this site we'll debunk, deconstruct, and, wherever possible, simply enjoy the strangest, scariest, funniest, most popular tall tales, rumors, and hoaxes people see fit to share, both online and off. …”
Have a break – an urban legend break here.
Happy exploring,
Naked Surfer
