We humans have Facebook or MySpace to socialise with one another. Now dogs have got into the craze of social networking with their own site. Naked Surfer sniffs it out.

Even dogs have their day in cyberspace
Step aside Facebook. Here comes Doggyspace.com, a social networking site for dogs that brings together dog owners from all over the world, allowing them to create profiles of their doggie friends, and share videos and photos.
The Virginia-based site was created by Levi Thornton, President of web development company, Mad Frog Productions in Fredericksburg (Virginia). Since the launch of te site in mid-July Doggyspace.com has more than 700 registered active user profiles. He projects the numbers to increase to two million by year end.
The site, said Thornton, is not only a place for pet owners to share stories but also to form friendship based on a love for dogs or in finding a play date for their dog.
Standard accounts for Doggyspace.com are free. Later in the year premium accounts, with extra features, will be introduced for a small fee, and part of the fee will go to an animal charity of the members' choice.
Woof, woof,
