Sourceforge.net is a useful site for both site developers, as well as for those of you just looking for some great software to download..

This is a source code repository - a centralised location for developers to control and manage open source software development. And of course, this is a where many coders, who so kindly develop free software for us laymen, hang out.

Check out the “Project of the Month” column where you learn about the source-coding world.

By default the site shows software that runs on the Mac platform. But there is an option for you to change to another operating system, such as Windows.

Always searching,
Naked Surfer
