We have heard many songs and watched many videos that are rallying cries for unity and collective help, whether it’s in time of human tragedy as in Darfur (We Are the World), in time of political turmoil as in Iran (Stand By Me) or, most recently, in time of natural disaster as in quake-hit Haiti (Everybody Hurts).

In multi-racial Malaysia talented songwriter/singer/producer, Pete Teo, gathered a group of Malaysian artistes to produce a “unity” song, Here In My Home - Malaysian Artistes For Unity. It’s a call for the various races in the country to unite and live in harmony as one.

According to the producers, this is a non-profit, non-partisan, independent project from Malaysians directly to Malaysians. The song and video is available for free download at Malaysian Artistes for Unity

Sing on,
