"Sorry" may seem to be the hardest word for Elton John to say, but for nine Thai men in brown, it spells fame.

It all started when attendees at a tourism-related seminar were asked to participate in a talent show. Nine officers from the Fourth Subdivision of Thailand’s Tourist Police, which is based in the northern Thai city of Chiang Mai, decided to perform a spoof of "Sorry Sorry", a hit song by famous South Korean boy band, Super Junior.
The five-minute performance not only won the policemen the competition, but also made them instant stars on YouTube when it was posted on 5 August. The video was so popular that major newspapers front paged the story with one declaring it "a major hit". At press time the video has over 500,000 views.
Lt-Col Tanakorn Doltanakan, one of the nine "dancers"' said they did not think the video would become such a hit. "It’s something we did just for fun."
On the choice of the song, Lt-Col Tanakorn said they were inspired by Super Junior when his unit was assigned to take care of the boy band during its tour of Chiang Mai.
