A Bloggers Summit will be held at ITB Berlin for the first time.
The Transit Cafe will be among the travel bloggers who will be gathering at The PhoCusWright Bloggers Summit@ITB Berlin on March 5.
The event will include briefing sessions with travel industry leaders as well as workshops on “Blogging With The Long Tail of Tourism”, presented by Tips From the T-List, the first book of travel marketing blogs.
Two workshops will show how an active, content-producing network of bloggers can have a growing influence on customers’ online spending habits.
Following the Bloggers Summit will be the PhoCusWright@ITB Conference
on March 6.
A collection of keynote addresses, talkback roundtables, case studies, exclusive interviews, "Five Minutes of Fame" and point/counterpoints will cover the important trends and necessary insights that surround the theme “Success in Travel E-Business.”
Qualified Bloggers will be provided free admission to ITB Berlin as well as PhoCusWright@ITB. Qualified Bloggers will be determined by PhoCusWright and the publishers of the Tips from the T-List book.
The following criteria will form the basis of the decision making, but exceptions may apply:
0. Qualified bloggers will be tied to the industry, either by working for or consulting for the travel industry. Consumer oriented-bloggers do not qualify.
0. How often a blogger posts: minimum of one post per week
