I went on a mini 'expedition' here in Hong Kong.

From the trailhead it was a 90 minute walk to the beach, a place I've been regularly visiting for over 40 years. It was hard to believe that only a short distance away I had 7,000,000 neighbours.

I arrived at midday and left just after sunrise the next morning. There was not another soul on the beach overnight, just little ole' me and my crackling campfire.
