Peter Harbison

Peter Harbison is Executive Chairman of the Centre for Asia Pacific Aviation (CAPA). The Centre was established in 1990 and produces a range of executive information reports and newsletters covering the aviation industry in Asia and the Middle East.

Peter is a prominent aviation consultant and commentator on Asia Pacific aviation issues. He has a comprehensive knowledge of the nature and function of international, domestic and regional aviation industry and market structures, the drivers of tourism growth and development, the value chain and bilateral air services negotiations. Peter’s career in aviation comprises more than 30 years, in government, including two years with the Australian mission to the International Civil Aviation Organisation and 10 years at a senior level in the International Air Transport Association.
