Roland Jegge, Vice President, Asia Pacific, WORLDHOTELS

Roland Jegge is Vice President, Asia Pacific for WORLDHOTELS. In this position, Roland is responsible for all aspects of membership development and services and managing sales and marketing activities throughout the Asia Pacific region. He also has day-to-day management responsibility for the company’s Singapore-based regional headquarters and sales offices in Singapore, Tokyo, Sydney, Hong Kong and Shanghai.

Under his stewardship, WORLDHOTELS’ Asian operation has grown dramatically, from the original 10 staff in three offices to a multinational, multilingual handpicked team of 25 hospitality industry experts in five offices around the region.

Roland is a skilled linguist who is fluent in English, German and French – and even somewhat conversant in Japanese and Mandarin. He is also a passionate outdoors and adventure sports practitioner, and might be found skiing, rollerblading, mountain climbing, scuba diving, or even
bungee jumping.
